Sustainable Fashion Week

Re’Store is the official London Hub for Sustainable Fashion Week

Over the 30th Sept - 1st Oct weekend we are hosting three community workshops: Jumper Surgery, Denim Upcycling and Mindful Weaving

community workshops

  • KNITWEAR SURGERY WITH VERONIQUE

Veronique is passionate about extending the life of your old jumpers and keeping them out of landfill! If you have an old favourite jumper that’s been sitting at the back of your wardrobe because of moth holes, worn elbows, or general wear and tear, bring it along to this workshop to learn how to fix those holes. Veronique will show you some creative mending techniques that will have you hooked, and you'll never have to throw away a jumper ever again!

This is a drop-in community workshop - tickets are “pay what you can afford” and valid for an hour anytime between 10 am and 2 pm.

  • DENIM UPCYCLING WITH KAL

Whether you have a pair of jeans that no longer fit or are simply looking to give them a new lease of life, this workshop is perfect for you. During the workshop, you will learn techniques such as cutting, sewing, and embellishing to create your own unique skirt or bag. We will provide all the necessary tools and materials, including sewing machines, threads, needles, and decorative elements.

This is a drop-in community workshop - tickets are “pay what you can afford” and valid for an hour anytime between 10 am and 2 pm.

  • MINDFUL WEAVING WITH MAGDA

Escape the stresses of daily life with this incredibly relaxing, mindful waste-weaving workshop with Magda. You will learn how to create your own fabric from household waste.
Bring along any fabrics you’d like to weave into your creation. We'll provide all the materials and the know-how. You will leave with a wall hanging or a square that you can turn into a bag.

This is a drop-in community workshop - tickets are “pay what you can afford” and are valid between 12 - 4 pm.
